I am regularly invited to give talks and hold workshops, on themes including crowdfunding how-tos, aspects of the donkey walk, and wild parenting.
Over recent years I have:
- given a TedX talk on maternal ambivalence and rewilding childhood
- appeared at the Hay Festival, talking about Seaside Donkey and wild parenting
- given talks at the Royal Geographic Society
- run a crowdfunding workshop at the Centre for Alternative Technology
- given talks on freelancing, publishing and marketing at Aberystwyth University
- given talks, held workshops and sat on panels of adventurers at the Adventure Travel Film Festival
- mainstage talk at the Women’s Adventure Expo
- talked twice at Night of Adventure events (one to over 900 really enthusiastic people!)
- plus many talks in schools, theatres, pubs and village halls all over the UK…
